Trek Marlin 7
This is our recommended bike for this trail. It's fast and capable, yet has familiar handling to somebody just learning how to mountain bike. It's also lightweight to boot, making the climb back from Fish Lake much more bearable. This bike is even able to accomplish the more technical adjacent trail of Brown Mountain or Rye Spur if one were so inclined.
