Lower Klamath Wildlife Refuge
This flat gravel ride goes through the scenic Lower Klamath Wildlife Refuge. Good gravel, little to no traffic and nearly pan flat, this route lends itself to beginners or early season miles. Best ridden in the late winter or early spring to avoid winds and bugs. This area is famous for its bird watching during that time of year and you can almost certainly expect to see unique bird sightings.
ADVENTURE BIKES
All day comfort and the ability to take the road less traveled. An upright body position and wider tire clearances take the edge off of rough roads.
RECREATIONAL MOUNTAIN
The pick-up truck of bikes. It can handle moderate trails and still serve as an around town bike.
FITNESS BIKES
Get your heart pumping, not your knees screaming. Upright body positioning and straight handlebars make for a smooth, predictable ride.
Trek Dual Sport+ 2
While most any gravel type bike can do this route without much trouble, a Dual Sport is a great casual bike for it. It’s fast enough for the long road sections yet plenty capable for any kind of loose gravel.
